We ran a super-fast Service Design taster workshop at the Association of Scottish Businesswomen annual conference at the Royal Bank of Scotland Headquarters in Edinburgh. In 45 minutes we introduced 25 people to the basic principles of service design, the design process and idea generation techniques. Ten new ideas for services emerged – from virtual online ‘coffee-breaks’ for remote workers, to virtual product catalogues to keep staff and customers up to date with business activities to tools for helping businesses to decide future growth strategy.
