Designing Good to Great

We developed and delivered a one day introduction to service design for 400 staff at Dundee and Angus College in 2017. We introduced a service design approach to the staff  in hands-on practical workshops: user-interviews, empathy and journey mapping, visitor experience, idea generation and making short videos. The video below captures the day.

Service design is a cross-disciplinary approach that can be applied across organisations. We run training sessions and have developed training programmes with clients, allowing them to build capacity within their organisations.

We deliver training sessions for small teams to large scale cross-organisational training events and programmes. We’ve run events for 4- 400 participants, one hour taster sessions to programmes running over several months.

“We’ve had 400 staff in here today, thoroughly engaged with the activities, and I can sense the energy in the room and from the discussions that they’re enjoying it.”

– Grant Ritchie, D&A College Principal

“Thank you for organising such a fantastic event on Wednesday we all went back to school buzzing and we were using the new techniques first thing on Thursday morning.”
