Like many organisations around the world, all of us at Open Change are working remotely during the COVID-19 crisis. We are humbled by the work our clients are doing – in the NHS and other public services.
We have been working with NHS specialists in the care of the elderly, palliative care and psychology services to develop visual guidance to support frontline staff.
We have completed the following series so far;
1. Stress Coping and Resilience – for front line healthcare & social service workers;
2. Difficult Conversations – Why we need to talk about Dying;
3. Care Homes and Coronavirus.
Just days after lockdown in the UK was announced, we started working with Lorri Smyth in organising weekly online gatherings of the Service Design Scotland community. Lorri had worked with others in organising a successful meet up in Edinburgh earlier in the year, and we didn’t want lockdown to stand in the way of a clear appetite for networking. We also knew that some folk would be feeling isolated.
Seeing up to 60 participants every Thursday at noon on Zoom provides an opportunity for us to stay connected through a challenging time.
Back for more of our work.
